96-97 cat

Do any of you guys have a pic of a gutted driver side cat or can you describe what a stock one looks like from the inside.I bought my car with the bbk shorties already on it.I had an exhaust leak at the flange. So when I took out the pipe w/ the cat on, it had nothing in it.It's either he gutted it,or thats what they look like.

What a friend and I did, was get the car a reasonable amout off the ground enough to get straight up and down with a drill, i got the biggest drill bit i could get a 1" from my uncle and ground the bottom down to fit in a basic power drill and went to town, got through 2 peices of metal there are 2 , 1 covering and the cat itself to get through. we pressed hard and sprayed alot of WD40 to keep it cool and got a screw driver and knocked it out and wrapped it up with 2000 degree high temp modling clay and wrapped aluminum foil on top with the clay on the foil edges and is still till next wendesday when i can install my LONG TUBES !:P
