95Z28 tinking pinging noise in forw and rev when accel

Sounds like its coming from around torkconverter .Thought it might be a cracked flywheel .but makes no noise when in park no matter how high i rev it.hmmm

sounds like detonation. if your not running high grade gas run 92or93 octane in it and if it is detonation it should go away. if not post back

There is no pressure on the flexplate in park. Sounds like you might be on the right track. Maybe a TC bolt, too. I would try to check it out soon.

Oh, if you have an LS1 driveshaft, some tend to "tink" when initially put in drive or reverse.
