94 z28 motor rebuild...........
Hey everybody got a 94 everydayer a4 car...would like to keep it as a everydayer.......its got 180,000 miles on her so she about due for a rebuild..anyhow i bought a vortech v1 s-trim charger awhile back for a good deal and would like to add this to my rebuiling of the motor. i would like ideas on a complete setup on my motor as in a good cam, heads, upper and lower work, intake, injectors, etc. I also was wondering if theres anybody out there that know a good lt1 builder near where i live, one that maybe can also tune my car right and build it too maybe.....i live in georgia close to rome.... anyhow everybody let me know your ideas on a complete setup with the charger would like to have around 400 or more in hp maybe
but let me know your ideas ......thanks and let me know .............

Re: 94 z28 motor rebuild...........
Well I can't give any recommendations on any parts because I have not rebuild mine...but...why rebuild at 180,000? I have 181,000 with stock opti and everything, thing still hauls like an ox.
Also, if you have a supercharger, you are going to want a lower compression ratio. 400 rwhp would be pretty easy with a supercharger I would think. Someone else more knowledgable and that has done some stuff can give info on cams, bottom end, all that jazz.
