'94 trans work in a '95?
 

Will a 4L60E out of a '94Z work properly in a '95Z? We did a '95 to '94 swap without problems, so I doubt it will be a problem, but would like a second opinion.

i was told that the 95 trans wont work in a 94 because the 95 trans has the pulse width modulated tcc and i will need my computer reprogrammed, and i have to add a wire also....?

I've heard similar things, but we bolted it in, changed the shift lever and dumped in a new computer program. Everything worked fine.

It'll work with some minor mods. I sold a 94 tranny I had to a buddy with a 95. Bryan at PCMforless did a special flash for the guy and that was all it took to make it work.

any idea what the mods were? I do my own PCM programming, so it should be something I can handle..

Nope, don't know what mods were done to account for the lack of PWM in the 94.
