Question 94 headers for a 93?

So if I have a 93 Z28 with a 94 motor and exhaust manifolds (including 4 wire O2 sensors)... what is the difference in the headers? which year should i order for when I look at headers? Seems that there is a difference between 93 and 94/95s. I dont want to have clearance problems due to having wrong headers in the body, but dont want to see installation problems due to the wrong year motor either...

If you figure it out, I have some SLP headers for sale.

They fit 94-97

Unhappy

you would think its a pretty wasy question....but apparantly nobodys going to bite..

well i guess i can try to make it easier... is there a difference between 93 and 94 exhaust manifolds?
I know that the 93 has a 1 wire O2 sensor, and the 94s have 4 wire. but thats the only thing i can possibly think of.
I am assuming they both have the same A.I.R. system plopped on top (not that mine still has that attatched anyway) surely the 93 and 94 are the same dimensions between the fenderwells?

somebody has got to at least have an educated guess here...

They both have the same AIR hookups, but the 94+ have an extra connection on the passenger side for EGR. You can just plug the extra connection and will be fine. For more 93 specific stuff check out my post in my sig. There is also a speed density only forum in that post.

Good luck.

your air and egr both use the same fitting on a 93 and on a 94 they have two different fittings if the whole thing is out of a 94 including the egr and air then get hedders for a 94-95 single cat car

ps the air fitting is in the front on a 94-95 with the egr in the back down low
and on a 93 the single air/egr is in the back/top

outstanding! this thread has sat around for a week or two already, but this is much progress. Yes they are even 94 manifolds on there and the fittings for the A.I.R diverter stuff is already capped off. So it looks like the small concensus is 94+ huh. OK Ill start looking deeper into them, Im sure Id get a million opinions and a few fights on what brand or style the majority recommends, so Im not even going there.

Im sure Ill have to get the headers from my wife (shes the manager of a parts store), but out of curiosity whats the story on those SLP headers RAMIN 94?

Thanks freak and bird...oh, and that thread on the 93/94 differences Ive referred to many times on other issues for year identification.
Thanks
