right now i have my ign on wire for my water pump pushed between a fuse in the fuse box to tell it to turn on. and today i bought a 6al and the wirign harness. and when i read the directions it sayd the small red wire is ign on. and i was wondering if i could hook up to this to teell my water pump to turn on so i dont hafta keep the wire pushed inbetween the fuse. im just looking for a cleaner look to hook up my water pump too.

As long as its a big enough wire (and fused for the WP) it should be good.

so the small red wire that hooks into my coil from my msd will activate the relay?

Yeah that'll be ok. You know the relay terminals right? 85 and 86 is the electromagnet (one ground one power, usually 86 gnd, then 85 would go to that red/ign on wire) then it switches 30 and 85 togehter (30 is source for power, 85 would be to your pump).
