58mm tb

hello today i put on my 58mm tb, i ported the intake to accommodate the 58mm tb. when iam at idle the rpm's drop down to like 500-700 it almost sounds like it is going to stall. is this normal when going to a 58mm tb? do i need to get my car retuned? it is a 6 speed 1994 z28. thanks

Re: 58mm tb

Did it idle correctly with the pcmforless prgramming BEFORE you put the 58mm TB in? What has he got the target idle speed set at? Did you set up the throttle stop screw correctly, to put your IAC counts around 40 and the TPS voltage near 0.65V at closed throttle? Are you sure the IAC motor is responding correctly? Everything plugged back in?
