54mm throttle body

can you run a 54mm throttle body with out porting the intake?

I believe the stock opening is 52mm.

Definitely need to port the intake TB openings to run a 58mm TB.

I just looked at my intake today, and Loyd Elliott ported it out for a 58mm, i figured he would have done that anyway.

Stock opening is not 54mm it is 52mm. It measures 2.047 which is 52mm.

Madwolf dynoed his car, and lost hp. Hes not the first one to have this experience.

Research it on your own time. Plenty of people have lost power/gained nothing going with larger TB.
