390 rwhp? enough too....

I should be buying a Lt1 camaro with a 355 this week it dynos at 391 rwhp and 386 tq. What kind of track times should I be getting? ( the car has a 6 speed) Also should this car be giving 03 cobra's or C5 z06's and run for their money? Sorry the newb like post im just curious to see what people think.
(the car has the gm847 cam and ported heads) so it winds up to like 7K

With traction, and good track conditions and weather... it should go very low 12's ...mabe even some high 11's can be had wth a 160ish 60 ft time.......the Cobras should be NO problem....and even the C5 Zo6's should be beat "if" you can hook REAL good on them(but close).......Joe

Its very hard to predict based on dyno numbers as I've seen lots of dyno number manipulation and it always makes me skeptical...Plus, such variables as suspension, tire, weight, etc play a major role...You'll just have to run it at the track and post the results...Imho the dyno is a great tuning tool, but the numbers are just numbers until they are backed up at a track...

C5 z06 dynos over 360 rwhp, and weigh 3000 lbs compared to over 3400 lbs so you will have your hands full. Will come down to driver.

Thats the most torque I've seen on a stock cubed car, ask for a copy of the dyno chart and make sure its SAE

Couldn't have said it better myself. With traction, it could be an 11.30 car.

Even a Cobra with a pulley should not be a problem from a roll with good shifting skills. Cobra's are pigs (3900 lbs) it should at least take cobra another 20 to 30 or more (410 to 420 ish) to run heads up with you. The C5 Z06 should be a different story, most of the Zoh's make at least 350 rwhp stock and weigh alot less (as was stated) than an F-body. You will want to get your shifting skills down before you take a shot at either one of those cars, but I think you will manhandle both of them if your game is right !
