Yeah I told you so. There is definitely some more power to be had once the valves are under control from looking at this. I ordered locks and shims today. Comp 921's going on this week.

From looking at the charts I dont think I am even peaking yet.

No my car is still here at home, waiting my springs to come in, I hope its the springs, Bill and I have almost the exact same cures on our dyno sheets, and in those sheets above we are being compared.....

Make sure you check your pushrods carefully to ensure they are not bent. There is a slight posibility of valve/piston contact or even lifter toss that could've caused the pushrods to bend.

well with float Im sure they came unseated from the rocker and the lifter so I would def. pull all of them out and check them. Very good possibility one may be bent.

Bluecat has instructed me how to detect the power fall off and valve float using my Datamaster data logger, more specifically watching the AFGS and the RPM. After reviewing my logs I made last night, the problem could not be more obvious because the AFGS falls off at 6K RPM when in an ideal situation it would remain rather steady.

This again should make it very easy to determine if adjustments are really working without having to run back and forth to the dyno.

Far as expressing my opinion I have and let's just say it is generally unwelcome, but mdacton is partially right though.
If .030 spring shimming fixes the float for now what do you think is going to happen once you have a few thousand miles on it and the springs begin to wear?

Is there an echo in here??

Float also does a number on cast cams, the hard roller lifter hammering down on it is not a good thing.

Yes you were correct. I just needed a much more in depth explanation to completely understand.

Right now I have less than 2000 miles on the motor. I truly hope there is no wear on the cam.

Make sure to pick up a pushrod length checker. They aren't expensive and while you have the rocker arms off it is a great time to check them. My guess is around a 7.1" pushrod for your car.

Good luck on the repair. Should be good to go after that.

I caught it before it ate up the cam, but my new lifters were trashed.

You can't guess that......I highly doubt his pushrods are .300+ off......

We don't know exactly everything he has or whats been done etc. so you can't just guess
