Hi, recently my car started acting up. While driving, the fuel cuts off for a split second at all times, and sometimes at a dead stop it stalls. The only thing I noticed so far while it cuts off, the tach and speedo gauges move up and down too. Any ideas what it could be? BTW my car is completly bone stock, LT1 automatic

Nope! would that be the most likely cause?

 

Well before you say "the fuel cuts off" get a fuel pressure gauge and check the pressure at the times it cuts off. Get one with a hose and tape it to the windshield if you have to drive to get it to happen.

 

Try looking for an electrical short-most likely the terminal behind the battery on passengers side is loose.
