1993 header install

On LT pacesetter headers for 94-95 w/emissions I know that you must mod them to fit on the 93 w/the correct hook ups. My question is the pipe ont he passengerside that is on the #8 tube for the exhaust manifold do you put this is in the #8 tube on the headers and weld the the #2 tube fitting closed or is it vis versa?

Re: 1993 header install

I would extend the tube up to the Air location on the headers and weld or get a block off plate from SJM for the EGR location on the headers.

Re: 1993 header install

But isn't the passengerside suppose to be egr? So shouldn't I weld the one on #2 tube up and use the one on the #8 tube? I figure i would just heat the egr tube up w/a tourch and then bend it to fit in that tube on the #8 tube. Are you sure I use the one on the #2 tube?

Thanks

Re: 1993 header install

Unless my 93 was already modifed when I got it my egr and air were tied in togeather only hooking into the exhaust in two locations. Is this so on yours? If so then I think it would be easer to just extend the tube up to the #2 cyl and weld up or plate the 94-95 egr tube hole. My 93 did not have a 94-97 egr style tube there for would require me to have added one. Maybe mine was already jacked with.

How is yours set up?
