Is there a program out there that I can hook up to my computer via a laptop and scan the computer sort of like autotap for odbII?? If you know of any software or companies let me know.

Freescan, you can't alter but its a good tool none the less to see whats going on. You need those cables for it like any thing else.

 

I use a program called TTS Powersystems.

It uses a data cable from the port under the dash, that runs into the Comm port of your laptop. It allows for data logging, playback, etc.

It is a very good product and I would recommend it to anyone with a 93-95 LT1.
