160 thermo temp?
160 thermo temp?
I thought I had a 160 in my car since I got it but when I changed my water pump i noticed it was a 185. what temp should my gauge be showing with the 160. I do have some computer work done
It takes 10min. to get the needle to even move in the morning, and I live in Florida(50degrees in the morning), it takes about 20 minutes at a light to get to 180, so I'm going back to a 180degree next week.
With a 160 stat my engine temp runs 178-180 according to datamaster. I well hit the fan temps (182&188) in stop and go traffic, in hot weather. Warmup in about three to four minutes and full temp in five to six miles. Great heater output.
