Broke a rocker stud
sucks, but at least I already have my 7/16 studs and non self aligning roller rockers, chromeoly push rods, and guideplates ready to go, guess this is the incentive to git r done
Any guess as to what could've caused it, I shift at 5700, can you make the poly locks too tight? I am running lt4 springs and the rockers are 1.6 SA proforms(changing over to comp pro mags(NSA) with arp 7/16 studs)
It broke at idle pulling in to my driveway and the rockers have been on for over 1500 miles, just curious as to how it could break on a stock cam, and it was the number 3 intake rocker if that helps.
They were stock 3/8s studs btw

They were stock, GM, screwed in 1996, 3/8 rocker studs, I don't think I had a half inch of thread screwed into the poly lock, I'll have to check when I get home.
The new ones I have are 7/16 arp
