112 or 118 actually.
Yes, you can get rid of it using a Hypertech programmer or custom programming.
Email me if you need more info on the 2nd.

Yeah, a HyperTech Power Programer will get rid of it. My car had it. My programer will be for sale when I get LT1 Edit. If you still need it then, I will let you know.

I wouldnt get the HPP. Alot of people say those are a waste of money. If I were you I would get the pcmforless.com programming. Its less expensive and Bryan can tune the computer more specifically for your car. Taking the top end limiter off is just one small thing he can do for you. Good luck.

The cheap way is to just put a switch on your VSS and when you hit 100mph just flip the switch!

Thats what I thought too. All it will do is throw a code while the switch is on. Am I right??

Yup. It will store the code though. To clear the PCM just take out the PCM fuse and turn the ignition on for 30seconds.

When you get to the track just disconnect the speedo.

I am under the impression that the VSS [ and the speedo] is needed for the A4 to shift, etc?[Maybe not for a 93, but 94 and up]

Yes, you're right. If his car is an A4, it won't shift into 4th.
