1 problem, 1 question

i got a small amount of oil coating just under half the bottem of the oil pan... rear main seal? please say no... also.... umm i forgot...

LOL, could be back of the intake manifold leaking, valve covers, rear main seal, the oil pan gasket it's self, any of the seals and gaskets in the timming cover area, id start by cleaning some areas and checking to see where it's comming from.

see where its coming from???? son its -2 outside.... i'd rather park it and drive a sleigh lol

If you see some smoke out the back,say after the car is warmed up,and you stopped to go to the store or something,and see smoke after you start the car,then it might be the intake manifold leaking.Also my #8 plug always had oil on it and crap inside,but since I had it fixed(Felpro gasket and some good adhesive),the same plug is normal,and no more smoke.If this is the case,shop around for the repair,as I had mine done for $130.00.but have seen this as high as $600.00 on this board.Hope this helps.(Also ,use an A.C. Declco oil filterPF25.My02)

Could also be the oil pan gasket.
