1" ARP Header Bolts? where?
i called jegs and summit, and they only cary 3/4" arp header bolts, where are you guys getting 1" ones from?
they said they have like a 1.675 or something in a stud, not a bolt. just need a 1" bolt.

bolts
Get ARP 3/8" x 1" standard thread with the 8 point heads for a big block. They got those. These 8 point heads make it a bunch easier to install them in tight bolt clearances.

Is there a particular reason you need the 1"? I use the 3/4" long 3/8" diameter and a 5/16 six point hex. The 1" part # is
100-1109 for a quantity of 12 or 100-1110 for a quantity of 16. These are arp part #'s. they are black oxide 6 point 1" long 3/8" diameter 5/16 wrench. I use these because you can fit a socket on almost all of my header bolts....jet hots and hooker longtubes.

The SS jobs, I believe are ARP-400-1210s
I believe the 12pts with the smaller heads give you bit more room between the heads and primaries. JMHO
Call Summit and give them the numbers and then see what they say the numbers stand for.

how long are the ones that come w/ jet hots? mine leak even after i change the gaskets, about 2 weeks and they leak, i think i need longer bolts, they are only going into the head like 1/4 " i think.
