I've seen the variable ratio rocker arms that are setup for 1.6/1.7 ratio but will the 1.7 ratio work on an LT1 without changing the valve guides? Are there other concerns?

 

I believe you have to change springs of course and have them set correctly, not sure on the guides but definitely need better pushrods. I was curious about the same thing but when you do a cam later you have to take all that into consideration in your valvetrain and cam you choose. By the way your times are awesome for a bone stock LT1, mind me asking what all you lightened to get those times?

 

He he. LOL, if I got a nickel every time someone asked me that I'd be rich!! LOL. The car is gutted. I'm trying to hit a 3000# raceweight and keep it there.

I think it was SAR2k or GreenbeanZ that was running them. Maybe they could shed some light on the subject. Or someone else?
