$500 Comp Cams Timing Set??????
Yea, thats comps version of the xtreme duty that you can get for half that from GM. It's high because it is built to drive the water pump like your stocker. Since comp dosen't produce them in the masses that GM does, they cost more. In this case, about double.
Iunderstand supply and demand play a factr, but what are these things made of, they are still very expensive even at 200 bucks. Why can't an aftermarket company produce these with a cheap price, all they have to do is copy GMs design and manufacture them. Someone please explain, or give me hope they will come up with something more comperable to a double roller. I just can't force myself to get an electric pump, and I am to cheap to spend 200 bucks everytime I need a new timing set.
