This is an ls1 to ls6 conversion kit... is it worth it for the price?

 

I don't think so. For $2100 you can do quite a bit to your car and definetly pull 405 at the crank.

Check out one of the sponsors. They should be able to hook you up with a set up that'll do much better for the same price, if not cheaper.

 

Definetley not worth doing a conversion. The only reason I could see to do it would be if you were making a 100% show car and just wanted to say "yeah it has an LS6!"

rediculous

lid, LS6 intake, LT headers and a catback and a TR 224 camshaft with tuning will put you close to 375hp at the wheels...

that's about $2000 depending on a whether you get stuff used...for more hp.

 

yeah i almost have enough for an ls6 intake. Since my car is a some what daily driver i dont want a cam that is going to hurt my car.

 

i get nearly 25mpg with my 233/233 cam

around town, not quite city...but mostly 45mph or less...and i get 18-19mpg

not bad for a 400rwhp car
