Will I need injectors and a pump?

With the mods in my sig will I need bigger injectors and a fuel pump if I add a Cheatr H/C? I'm trying to figure my costs before I take the plunge.

You could find a set of used 28.8lbers off an 01~02 f-body and be fine. Or, you could get some SVO 30's. Fuel pump wouldn't hurt, but isn't required.

The fuel system seems to be an issue that everyone has a different opinion on. Some get away with running stock injectors and pump with a H/C setup while others like myself had the fuel pump go a month after the install.

For your mods, I would not worry about it. Not necessary at that point. Save your $$$

So basically do the H/C swap and keep an eye on the injector duty cycle?

If that's the case I'll just go ahead and be prepared and if I don't have to, that's just more mod money!

That setup makes no power.

You won't need anything more than factory 28s.

I think I have a set in my garage with 10,000 miles on them. Let me know if you want to buy em

I'm going with a different setup know. After I got to looking at it I wasn't very impressed by the cam and it wouldn't really suit what I have and what I wanted. I'm still going with a small cam and the 205 heads though.

are 99 injectors smaller than 01 02 models? I thought I read somwhere that the 01 up cars had the 28s but not pre 01 cars.

97-98 and 01+ had 28#

99-00 had smaller injectors - 26#

That doesn't really make much sense. I guess that's why I'm not working for GM though.

Well in that case I'll be getting in touch with you.
