Whos got Pacesetter Longtubes?

Question is "how do they compare with the big names (SLP, Hooker, etc). They're way too much cheaper to get the same power is what Im thinking. Whats the verdict?

Same power. Only issues it their Y-pipe. Otherwise any other headers are a waste of money. The Y-pipe is a horrible fit. Not sure what u can use instead, but Im sure a performance shop could rig something up.

I have their headers and like everyone says.. Headers are headers are headers. Maybe on will give a few more hp than another, but not $500 worth of HP difference...

I have the Pacesetter LT's and the ORY. Yes.. the collector on the y sucks, but I'm having that replaced by a Flowmaster Y.. Installation of my Y was a breeze. I didn't run into any of the problems that other board members have had.

Overall... Easy install... They sound awesome w/ my Rumbler Catback. And I definitely felt a power increase even without a tune yet...

Off topic, but where did you plan on putting 2 cutouts?

not sure of his setup...but i've been throwing around dual cutouts on the ypipe just behind the header collector...and since i have one electric plate already in the closet...i may buy a second and install it.

that way i can run open headers with the flip of a switch

Have you seen the QTP cutout y-pipe. My setup will be similar. The cutouts go right before the bends into the ypipe collector. One on each side.

I aslo have (coated) Pacesetter LT's. Definatly the best bang for the buck. They will make the same amount of power as the SLP ones for example. But again, the Y-pipe does suck. Had to pull and tug to keep it from banging.
