i got r1 racing seats and i was hoping to modify the stock ones but they are like on there with grommets so id screw up the slider on the stock seat......anyone know where to get another bracket or how to make one.......thanks

 

Whoever makes the seats should offer some kind of bracket for various car makes. If they don't, you might want to find a good welder, and see if that person can customize yours to fit, or make a new one.

 

use duck tape...it worked for mine

I remember reading from someone that took a bucha flat bars of metal to create a bracket that was reinforced with a "tic-tac-toe" crossing in the middle.. He marked up where the bars needed to be welded together, and brought it to a local shop and got it done cheap.

 

i guess thats what im gonna have to do
