where to get pacesetter coated longtubes for 370.00 shipped? hows the y pipe

i understand most headers will put out the same hp but hows the y pipe for pacesetters? can an exhaust shop do something so it doesnt hit the bottom of the car? hows ground clearance with these verse other setups? if i got this can i just also buy a pair of hi flow cats and have them welded on or will that mess something up? i need cats, can i use cats with the pacesetter?

Try TSP = Texas Speed Performance for the headers. They are cool guys and just ask them your question. As for cats, it would be a PITA to weld cats to the Pacesetter Y-pipe, prob better off finding a shop to make you a y-pipe or buy a setup like MAC that already has it. (MAC $700 as opposed to SLP $1000 or FLP $1200 due to price) As far as ground clearance, the Pacesetter Y pipe has the kink (not as bad as the stock one) to provide pretty good ground clearance.

go to yahoo and search for them under there shoping page. or use the search feature and search for the thread

"Cheap deal on pacesetters" in LS1 tech. I started it about 3 days ago and there is a link that I think rob posted, it has them for 370 shipped. Good luck

BTW get an exhaust shop to do your y...the pacesetter Ys have pretty bad fitment issues and you can get a better one for probable cheaper depending on the shop.

I have no issues with the pacesetter y-pipe. I just installed the pipe before I tightened the headers to the heads. The fuel lines looked a little close so I bent them up and have had no clearance issues even with my SLP DS loop. Every car will fit a little different though. Can't help with the price, I bought mine from texas speed when they were running a special with O2 extensions. And if you don't buy O2 extensions, make sure you solder the wires when you extend the O2 wires.
