Whats the price range?
Re: Whats the price range?
As usual, it depends on many variables: geographical area, conditio of the car, options, miles etc. etc. etc.
I've seen 99's go for well below $10K with 60-70K miles. 02's can be had for under $15K.
Keep an eye on your local newspapers as well as AutoTrader. That way you'll get the best idea regarding the local price range.
Yeah..., there are all these "book values" but most of them have nothing whatsover to do with reality, so don't rely on them too much.
Good luck!

www.kbb.com Kelley blue books site gives a pretty close estimate and takes into consideration area, miles, accessories, etc.
Re: Whats the price range?
Thanks for the replys. I hope I can find one for around 10K. What should I ask for my car. It a daily driver with 129K. The car is super strong still but will need headers or manifolds soon and new seat covers and thats it. Mods are in sig. ?
Re: Whats the price range?
I'm in Baltimore and a '99 SS with 50k miles would still easily go for $15k. Any LS1 here for less then $10k would have a problem, have more then 100k miles, or both. I paid $16,500 for my '00 Z28 with 20k miles and that's about what they are going for around here. They might be less where you are though. The Baltimore/DC/NY section of the east coast has really high car prices.
