May I ask why? Just adding the parts doesn't suddenly make it a WS6 ... at least not in my opinion.

if it is anything like chevy some of that stuff will be hard to get because you have to have a ws6 vin number to get the parts i know at chevy here they wont sell you ss parts for a z28 you have to have a ss vin number they say that when they sell you those parts and you put them on a z it lowers the value of the actual ss because you more or less have the same thing and you didnt pay for the ss price.

You would not have a true WS6.

My suggestion is purchase a WS6 style hood from suncoast or ASCD, a raised airbox or their custom one, install a free flowing exhaust, upgrade your suspension and purchase a WS7 badge from suncoast creations.

WS6 = T/A with a ram air hood, slp exhaust (little dinky tips), 17 inch rims, and the radiator cover has a bigger oppening for the filter below the lid, oh yeah and the sticker at the back. Everything else is the same (Both have LS1, same tranny, and so on) I would say screw the WS6 idea and get a catback, some long tubes and a lid. This will out perform a stock WS6 and save you money. Then you could buy a better set of rims like some torque thrust 2's. In my opinion WS6 is a 3,500 dollar hood. Plus from what i have seen a plain T/A is more rare than a WS6.

If you want to make your car look like a WS6 that is one thing, but don't mis-badge it. If it isn't a WS6 then don't put the badges on it. That is posing IMO.

ABPurpleZ28 --- you're being an *******.

You took a T/A, put the WS6 parts on it, forged a window sticker, forged the door decals .... I feel sorry for whoever you sucker into buying your car down the road.

It's NOT a WS6.

LOL that car is a joke.

well if you mod your car to get it to be a WS6 then its fine if i had a camaro i would make it look like and SS {that why i bought an SS}. if you fool yourself into saying its justl ike the factory your kidding yourself. check your VIN numbers buddy it's STILL, AND NEVER WILL BE, A WS6

Yeah, that is really cool. Those "suckers" that bought it from the factory have a real WS6. You however do not, nor never will. You're a poser just like the ricer **** that put Type R badges on their cars. The only sucker is you

do what you want. You can do what you want, and comparing them to a ricer with type-r badges is bs. Those ricers dont have the r-type motor or anything else, just the badges. He said he wanted to get all the parts, and last time i remembered t/a's have an LS1, with the same interior. Get off your damn high horses and ease up on him, how does it devalue your cars if he did in turn spend the same money on mods as the WS6. Its not like he is getting the hood for free. I would rather get a firehawk hood, a cam and a full exhuast, then you can leave all the WS6's behind.

Firehawk hood= 695+200 for paint
Borla = 650 from MTI
hooker LT = 600
hooker y = 160
bored throttle body = 150
slp maf = 99
whisper lid = 150
thunder racing 224/224 lsa 112 cam = 450
Diablo predator = 450

total = 3604, will cost you about the same, and will get you to 380 rwhp and in the mid to low 12's. they think you want to be a poser, so don't, just make your T/A faster.
