What else for MAC install?

I'm buying used MACs with high flow cats, and I'm wondering what else I need? Stage 8 locking bolts? New header gaskets? What do I need for 02s? I know for my 95 TA, when I did the headers, I got like wires from auto zone and melted them together with buttconnectors (or something like that, I cant remember) can I do the same thing here?

And when I'm done, I need to find a shop to weld my catback (LM) to the high flow cats right?

Yes, VERY good idea.

I reused the stock metal gaskets.Just be careful taking them out.

Yes, you can use O2 simms and delete the cats or get O2 extensions to move the O2's back.

Unless you just want to use an exhaust clamp to keep the catback removable. Good luck!

You did good right up to here.
For the rear O2 sensors with no cats use sims or have them programmed out. If you go with cats the wires should reach the sensors.

For the front o2 sensors with Macs you may or may not need to extend the wires. I bought the premade extensions. But some have done the doityourself ones successfully.

Re: What else for MAC install?

My passenger side reached fine. The driver's side was too short. I opened up the wire loom, and pulled out the o2 wires, so I could drop the sensor down the back, instead of in the front...

Anyone else? What did you have to do with your O2s during the MAC install?

I had to extend the ground wire on the drivers side downstream. Other then that 02 sensors were not a problem. I would buy new gaskets, including new AIR hose gaskets because if they were like mine there won't be a way to save them.

I wouldn't use the MAC cats...they are pretty restrictive. If you have to use cats, reuse your stockers (what I did), or an aftermarket set.
