What do ya think

I just changed mt tranny mount w/ a polly mount. I also changed my wires to T-volt 10.4mm wires(what a BI*CH). The car idles fine, but on hard aceleration, it feels like I'm going over a series of small bumps. It also feels not as strong at a launch. I dodn't know if it is just a diff feeling w/ the mounts or what!?

Do you think the polly would change how it rides, it also seems to sound diff. I'm just stumped, if it is the polly trans mount, anybody want a 1 day old mount?

Re: What do ya think

urethane mounts are supposed to have less flex.so it might affect your ride quality.

thats why some people upgrade to urethane bushings to improve handling.

There's no way to hurt the coil packs, is there? We had to remove 3 of them to get the last wire on pass side on! Like I said, good idle, tack is fine.

you never know.

the easiest way to get to the last plug is from underneath. no need to take the packs off. make sure they are all plugged in and u hear the "click". my car idled fine on 7 cylinders and even half way decent on 6 but it stumbled when driving it

Re: What do ya think

We couldn't get the last boot on w/out making room to put it on. The problem was, I went from factory wires to the 10.4mm. Fac wires are prebent and that wire was against the inside fender. The new wire I put on is not only thicker, but it was not prebent. When we bent the boot, the conection inside stayed still. So we remoce the coil, snapped it on, reinstalled the coil. Just for the tranny mount and wires, 4 HOURS!

Re: What do ya think

If I go w/ polly motor mounts, will that lessen the vibration or make it worse? The sound that sounds diff, I think is the polly tranny mount making a drone sound . It seems that the vibration is just more firm and is just a constant humm. What would be a alt for the polly?
