Switching between ORP and cats out

How hard is it to change back and forth between an off road t pipe and the reg y pipe and cats in a dual cat 2000 car? I was thinking maybe I would just make a replacement pipes with the correct flanges to fit between the Y and the exhaust manifolds instead. Anyone tried that?

Installing a pipe with two flanges shouldn't be a problem at all since your cats are both flanged . I'm not as lucky with my 1999 Z28.... you might want to get some used cats and weld a pipe in them, this way it would look stock......

Yep thats what i did. Installed flanges for both the cat and the ORP so that i could swap them back and forth.
