i got my pacesetter LT headers and ORY-pipe over x-mas for about $400 (was marked down and i got the o2 extendors for free!)

ANYWAYS help!!

ok when i put in the new ORY i threw the rear o2 sensors code.. yay, going to autozone to have the tuned out.

BUT! every now and then the car makes some of the gawd afulest noises.. its like an old wooden ship at sea.. like that creeking noise? ya um.. not good.. and it seems to only appear when i turn the wheel (at a standstill and at low speeds, mostly while cornering..) so im thinking its coming from the new front sway bar? mayb its the POS poly bushings? i know over time they make these kind of noises but brand new? mayb stuff just needs time to get worn in more? and some time when i engage the clutch and press and the car moves or when i press the gas to get going in first it makes the noise also.. its gotta be coming from the front of the car.. HeLpp plz!

o- and last thing i think sometimes the passenger side header knocks against the floor pan when i get on it.. guess i need to wrap the pipe with a cloth or sumpthan?

thx!

buy some Prothane motor mounts, all the noise is probably form the headers or at least the Ypipe hitting and vibrating against the frame.

i know my bassani orp does this and it sounds similar to how you describe.

i'm puttin in my mounts this weekend to correct it hopefully.

and i'm thinking soon i'll be doing the PS headers!

the y-pipe could be rubbing.. as for motor mounts if that IS the problem then im gonna have to wait till this summer when i get my new shaft/heads cause i am NOT paying $300.00 for someone to lift my block out just so i can have mounts replaced i dont think they are saggin that bad btw.. ive honed the noise to down around the steering column and the front sway bar...
