Subframe connectors - can someone tell me about these?
I heard in a topic that subframe connects will make a huge difference in reducing subframe flex and such.
Can someone tell me how to get these installed? I assume a shop would have to do some welding. Can any machine shop do it?

Subframe connectors will definitely reduce the amount of flex.
Any speed shop can install them, and I would assume and body shop, machine shop, or anywhere else with a welder would do it as well.

I had a muffler shop weld mine on.They are by far the best mod I've done.Makes the car feel so much better while driving around. It feels like I added another $10k to the price tag
It's that much of a difference, just get them installed and then drive around. It especially feels like a new car over like bumps or railroad tracks.Good luck.

Just a side note on this, if you purchase "weld" on type, MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST before they start welding. Welding on the sub structure of a car (opposed to lets say muffler work) will send an electric charge throughout the frame of the car, and could possibly fry the computer.

Why would they? It stiffens the car, therefore the car will be STIFFER. Many consumers dont want that. WE do, but we are not in the majority.
Ohh, if you go to have subs welded on, dont let them do it if they dont seem to know what they are doing. Better to pay a little more than to have them mess up. On my LT1 a muffler shop just gessed at it and ended up covering the holes for tow trucks to connect to... That ended up with my BMR panhard rod getting bent.
I will be getting subs for my LS1 as well but this time I am going to get triangulated.

Most people with any sense can figure out their mounting points, so they do not interfere anywhere else. But if you're worried ask the manufacturer for directions, pics.
It took the place I went to a couple mins but they figured it out. THey can really onle fit one way per set unless the do something goofey. Or call some shops and ask if they can "do it right" Its a really menial task.
