strange sound

Has anyone else encountered a kind of rubbing sound when going over a dip in the road or on uneven road surfaces?I only hear it on cold winter days.I'm guessing it's the soft lower body panels flexing but because of the cold they're stiff and instead of flexing the way they do in warm weather they rub instead.Does anyone else have this problem?Does anyone know what it is?Does anyone know how to fix it??

Question Shot in the dark, but ...

Could it be the suspension bushings are dry ??

I have been told that is the cause of my squeaking in cold weather - sounds like birds chirping inside the car.

Too lazy to get underneath it & silicone spray it, though.

Good Luck !

Defintely not bottoming out.Sound seems to be coming from both rear quarter panel areas, but the way sound transmits through a car there's no way to tell if the sound is originating from there.

Most likely it's your LCA bushings, lube them they should quiet down. I got some Hotchkis one's now and they have grease fittings...makes things easy. Reminds me I need to do them soon, they are starting to bark a bit Like when I pull into a drive way or other uneven surface.

Thanks.I'll start with the LCA bushings first and see if that does the trick.I was gonna go under the car and lube every bushing in sight but I think I'll be better off in the long run doing one thing at a time till I figure out where the sound is coming from so next time I'll know right where to go if the noise comes back.Again,thanks.
