SLP Performance Underdrive Pulley?

On Monday Im getting my SFC's welded, so know Im looking for my next low budget mod. I was looking at SLP underdrive pulley, on one web site they claim to free up to 10 hp. Any insight? Are they worth the expense? Could you feel the difference? Does it affect anything else? are they easy enough to install or what is expected to pay to have them installed. Any info will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Re: SLP Performance Underdrive Pulley?

i think SLP makes great stuff, i went with a lower cost store brand harmonic balancer / pulley a month ago and have experienced zero problems. alt & temp gauges same as before. my old balancer needed a chrysler puller instead of a gm??????????????? and my stock balancer had a key which my new one does not. make sure you get a new crank bolt. my mechanic buddy just held with a screwdriver my flexplate in place while i torqued down the crank bolt and the new one went on just fine. (my timing marks are NOT lined up correct.) not sure about horsepower, i was reading gains from 5-12 rwhp. if i saved 5 im happy. cheers.
