SLP Intake package
 

SLP has a intake package that has the lid, bellow, and metal sleave intake kit. i was wondering if the metal sleeve intake that takes air from under the car affects the air lid flow on a SS. Or does it just add to the amount of air going to engine without messing up the flow. the SLP rep said it helps after 70mph. but is he just saying that or what thanks for your help.

i'd just save the money and buy the lid...

the SS hood is functional enough (maybe a few hp lower than aftermarket ramair kits) and you really don't need the bellows they do nothing for hp.

a nice TSP lid for $130 is perfect (some others are cheaper but word is that tsp is the best gains).
