Arrow

All I know about them is that they bump the lift from .500" (I'm pretty sure ) to .544" for '98-'00s, and from ~.479" to .521" for '01/'02s (different cam ---> truck cam apparently?? ).

That's a significant increase IMO. Should net some good results?

from what i understand if you want to go with an aftermarket cam later those rockers are a no no! So if you plan on that later then don't get them and from what i remember poeple get 15 rwhp or so out of em but for the price they better give some good results.

We've had customers reporting a 12-15hp increase with these rockers. The package with springs is recommended and as mentioned they aren't recommended if you will be running an aftermarket cam.

chevy hi-po magazine got 20 hp and 16-17 ft-lb tq. out of a 60,000 mile '98 vette with slp rocker arm swap. you will need ls6 springs or better to do the swap right.

Those numbers are all about right for hp. They will raise your lift values by about 8.8% - if you ever plan to put a bigger cam in, you will be very limited due to valvecover clearance.

Many opinions are that if you are going to go that far (replace rockers) then you might as well change the cam instead and get a much bigger gain. That's why most people don't do it.

The stock rockers are fine...just think LT1 guys get 1.6's...spend the time and money on a good cam..you'll get more hp in the end

Cool

I was on paceperformance.com and they sale a ls6 405hp package for the f-bodys. Has anyone installed it and got any times or dyno numbers out of it. I was thinking about it but I would like to see if anyone has done it.

Tom Q: Are these rockers good to use with the GM Hotcam? Just wondering cuz the hotcam has lower gain anyway and these may take it to another level of performance?
Or are the Crane rollers 1.8 better with this cam?

In my case, rockers are alot easier to change then a cam. I'am looking to try the SLP 1.85 rockers if I can find them at the right price. I don't plan on any other internal engine mods.

#7: You have to make sure the valvesprings can handle the added lift of the cam and rockers. I usually recommend doing one or the other.
