Shifting Techniques

Hey,
I haven't driven a manual in some 5 years so i'm kinda rusty. What is the best shift technique as far as clutch work for going fast??? Is it best to press the clutch pedal all the way to the floor when shifting?? Or is it better to only press it like 1-3 inches (whatever it takes to disengage it and shift??) I don't have troubles missing gears or anything. Just wanting to know.

Thanks.

If I were you, I'd put the clutch to the floor. I know a few people who were doing it the "barely disengaging" shifting and they eventually had some tranny problems. So, I'd be safe about it and just do it the right way.

it's all about the Vin Disel double clutch to go fast

oh and i'm being sarcastic

i guess when i'm powershifting i probably only depress it about halfway (never realy kept track). normal shifting i guess i go mostly to the floor.

i have done the partial dissengage thing but not often
