Since we all should know the brake booster line cannot evenly distribute Seafoam to all cylinders, and allowing the engine to sputter and die sounds bad any way you say it...oh and don't ever put the stuff in your crankcase!...there is a new product out there called Seafoam Spray. This spray is a great solution to this problem, especially for LS1's or V8's in general. Those familiar with Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner can try this method out to see they do the same thing. I've also done a step by step below for ya'll! TO DO THIS: You need to purchase Seafoam Liquid (the original stuff), and Seafoam Spray (it officially replaces Seafoam's old Deep Creep). I've heard many talk about putting Seafoam's old method of 1/3 in tank, 1/3 in oil, and 1/3 in brake booster. Well, this new method works better since, #1, you don't have to choke your car and only get 2 maybe 3 of the rear cylinders and not the others, and #2, no more Seafoam in your oil! Don't put ANYTHING in your oil! Even if Seafoam says to do it! Instead go buy some good ****, like Mobil 1 or Amsoil, with a good filter of course. ANYWAY, I recommend you go to a well ventilated area (a park or a desert even better), and do it at night since you won't be able to see the smoke that much.

1. With car off, pour Seafoam LIQUID into gas tank. LS1s hold 16.8 gallons. For each gallon, pour 1 ounce of seafoam. I'd recommend having 3/4 of tank full to pour appropriate amount of Seafoam into the tank.

2. Get Seafoam SPRAY. Remove air intake boot, place hook-guide and hose into throttle body, place air intake boot back on.

3. Turn on car, rev to 500-1000 rpms. Get a helper to spray 2-3 minutes (half the can) into the throttle.

4. Turn off car, remove hook-guide and straw and replace boot. Have a beer and wait 5 minutes.

5. Turn car on and idle to 10 min.

6. Drive car another 30 min., or until all the smoke clears.

7. Check oil and filter if it needs changing since Seafoam does a good job in getting the gunk out. Also check your spark plugs and wires too if you need to. Fuel filter might need a changing.

8. Now go have fun. You'll notice a great improvement in your idle! Oh, and I DON'T work for Seafoam, I've been doing this procedure since the spray was introduced on 6+ cars, and the method works with ANY engine, not just V8's. Good luck!
