running bad

hey guys the 98 ta that i have guys its pouring fuel out the tail pipes and smells like gas everywere.. also the car has hard time starting unless u have the foot on the floor then it idles at 2k and when u let off the gas you dont slow down u keep going and the car cruises at liek 1500k help any idead is my pcm going i had it custom tuned for the headers and lid.. also this is odd seems like it started when i put the ac line back on and cranked on the ac its creeped up slow in the past motnh i would say?

Tune sounds like it's way off. Too rich and the idle is too high.

any idead were or how much these things cost to retune

Where do you live? A dynotune will cost around $500. A mail-order tune will cost a little less, but won't be as effective. You don't need anything too crazy, considering that you don't much engine work.

If it is running that rich, I would be worried about washing down the cylinder walls with gas.

come again with the walls? also jsut talked to the guy that tuned the car he said the engine coolant temp wires/ pigtail could be bad and loose and give all theses problems

If an engine is allowed to run excessively rich, it can get to the point where raw fuel will not only dilute the oil, but wash down the cylinder walls in the engine taking away the lubrication provided by the oil. When you mention you have fuel dumping out of your tailpipes, it would make me worry.
