Question Rocker adjustment

Hello, I just joined to ask a question. I don't have a camaro, but I would really appreciate any help you could give me. I have a 68 chevy truck with a fuel injected gm crate engine. I put on some gm fast burn heads and the hot cam. My question is about adjusting the roller rocker arms. I did a search to look for the question and I found a thread that sounded exactly like the problem that I am having, but I had some more questions. The thread I found was here http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...ng+rocker+arms . I had the same thing happen to me while I was adjusting the rocker arms. I would adjust the rocker to zero lash and tighten it half a turn. Then I could push down the front of the rocker and rotate the back off of the valve spring. Is that normal? The lifters aren't new, though they have been sitting out of the engine for a while. The engine is not in my truck right now so I can't start it up to test things. I was hoping to adjust them before putting it in the truck. Will I have to run it and adjust it again. Thanks for any help you can give me.
