rear main seal

I doubt the two are related but it does sound like a bad trans mount. Real easy to swap and you can get them almost anywhere. I wouldn't recommend polyurethane unless you want to feel every single bit of driveline vibration.

awesome. i definetly will go with the polyurethane mounts. im on the AutoZone website and shows they have that in stock. just wondering if its the full mount? or do i have to take my old one apart for the bolt?

You get everything you need in the kit. Again, though, I would recommend against polyurethane unless you have a track car or something.

Really varies from car to car. The M6 doesn't seem to be as unforgiving with a poly trans mount. I had the ES poly under my original T56 (a little "buzz" from the shifter) and then under the TH400 and now under the TH400 + Gear Vendors O/D, and never found the noise or vibration to be a problem.
