Re: Quietest muffler
stock muffler is pretty good IMO.. I prefer the way mine sounds.. So many people have borlas and cutouts around here and I rarely find someone that like me, still has stock exhaust.. the sound of the stock exhaust is pretty wicked..
If you are wanting pretty quiet during idle and loud during WOT try Corsa.. |
Re: Quietest muffler
I think the quietest aftermarket catback is the SLP dual/dual. Maybe you can see if they sell just the muffler.
Good luck |
Re: Quietest muffler
I have a SLP dual dual, in the box, from 2002.
I never used it. Jim |
Re: Quietest muffler
so i think i either want to get a stock/stock replacement/V6 muffler/other generic autozone muffler or something. the car came with this muffler and 5.5" slant cut tips and i want something that doesnt stick out so much visually or audibly.

Re: Quietest muffler
I bought a muffler from SLP and alone it was $250.00. Not to mention it has a 3" inlet.
I also bought a 3" SLP Int. pipe. The newer SLP mufflers are louder than previous models. I think people were complaing they were to quiet. |
Re: Quietest muffler
Stock is about the least audible but IMO they sound like you killing the car at wot ( i know weird) other than that id go with the dual-dual like everyone else has said
