Ive noticed since I put the cutout on that there is a pretty noticable gas smell when I get out the car. Im assuming this is because the exhaust is now lingering under the car and not going out the back like it should. Has everyone else experienced this?

I had my cutout under the car in the I-Pipe just before it went over the axle. From time to time, I would smell exhaust gasses and that would be normal.

 

My car did that before i installed a cutout. Now that I have one I actually notice it less. Or maybe I just got used to it.

 

Every once in a while I will notice the gas or exhaust smell, I just crack the windows alittle bit. I really dont worry about it

 

I get this on cold start-up and it smells like gas until it gets to operating temp... then the gas smell goes away for the most part.
