I just got the 228R cam/headers etc... for my 2001 Camaro I was wondering if there is a program like Tunercat for the LT1 cars to just upload an LS1 tune to my computer without LS1 edit or anything? Cuz I have a tune, now I just have to upload it to the PCM, my friend has an AUTOTAP cable which will interface with my car for scanning & laptop, now I"m sure this same cable can be used to upload data to the pcm, is there a program that will allow me to upload this file?

As far as I know, there isn't anything. Tuner Cat for the LS1 is still "being worked on" and other than LS1 edit, I don't believe there is another option.
