Question about SLP ram air induction system

I was on thunder racing cite........I was looking at the SLP ram air induction system....It says its not recommended for SS's.....I was wondering why its not? I was also wondering is the " super sucker " system would also not be recommended for my ss? Please get back to me! Thanks

The Supersucker is meant for all 1998-2002 F bodies(V8-V6). I have it on my 02SS. You'll love it. The top box comes with the weatherstripping already on it to seal the lid. You'll definitely notice a SOTP difference.:)

Is there any aftermarket cold air intakes out there that can be put on without having to actually do cutting?

SLP has one made out of stainless steel that mounts under the air box and sits in front of the radiator.Very stealth, you can't see it unless you climb under the car.Only some minor cutting of the bottom of the air box, which is made of plastic so it's no big deal.It only took me 1 1/2 hours to do with a coffee break! It comes with super detailed instructions.I put it in last summer and performance and gas mileage both went up.Not very expensive either. You can check it out at slponline.com:cool:
