Prothane motor mounts
well after ALOT of work to get the mounts out, then even more to get them back in (link to my previous thread), i'm finally finished.
i finally got the passenger side mount in, after having to remove the mount AND the bracket that bolts to the crossmember. i had to jack the motor up ALOT...actually pressing my ORP iinto the floorboards a little. i'm not sure this would have been a problem with the stock pipe. it also took alot of prying to get the mount bolt through.
after getting it all back together i fired the motor (
thank god it fired). i reved it a few times and the motor barely moved. i would say it rotated less than 1/4" compared to the near 1" it rotated before.
i crawled under the car and reved it and the ypipe barely moved at all, so this should eliminate the ypipe hitting the frame.
the car is not drivable yet cause i'm replacing the torque arm bushing as well, but i should have it up and running tomorow
more thurough reveiw forthcoming...

well i finally got it all together.
the engine barely moves now when reved.
went for a spirited drive and was plesently suprised that the Ypipe didn't hit the frame...problem solved.
i was not able to notice ANY added vibration or rattles like everyone says.
i also installed the prothan torque arm mount with similar results, not a single bit of added vibration and it seems to grab a little better on launches.
next comes the trans mount...may just buy the 1LE, but i am seriously considering the polyurethane...(yeah yeah...go ahead and tell me i'll be getting crazy rattles, vibration and noise)...just like everyone said about the motor mounts and TA mount
