im going with hooker lt's, n=but should i keep the cats or dump them, how much hp will i gain without them?

It all depends on what you wanna do with the car..here's some pros and cons:

pro's

great for emissions
quiets down the car
give's a use forthe hump in the passengers floor board
will not throw an engine light

con's

you'll need simms for the O2's
nice and loud
free flowing
less weight
more hp, not much but some, maybe 7hp
people in the drive thru will hate you because of the fumes

Now correct me if I am wrong but I hear the stock cats are actually better then aftermarket cats.. Plus 3 exhaust guys told me that they had looked at High Flow Cats versus the aftermarket cats and stock ones and they said that the stock ones are better and the high flow cats are just regular cats w/ high flow sticker on their box... I don't know if this is true but this is what I have heard... So if this is true then just stay w/ the stock cats...
