Can a Z06 MAF or any MAF hurt your HP's? and Should I just keep the stock one in?

 

The stock MAF is good up to about 450hp. Dont touch yours, just leave it alone. Dont descreen it, dont port it, and dont replace it. Just let it be.

 

You can get the Pace LS6 85mm MAF recalibrated for a LS1 but if you don' intend to do heads/cam then on a stock car it's a waste.

 

In my opinion (and experience), the MAF your car came with is the best one you'll ever put on. I've run mine with bolt-on mods, then with nitrous, and now with a supercharger. Never a problem, and I've seen nothing but problems for friends that swapped out the factory one.

There's better ways to spend that money....
