MAF question...

i see some people post 01-02 MAF for ls1 whats the diff with the 98-00 MAFS? i thought they were the same? im really lost...

well i see when people sell them they say will work on 01-02 ls1's i figured they did it like that for a reason???

I don't need to search. I didn't ask the question. That's why I asked you to point me to a link. You actually thought that you would come in here and ask a question and I was going to spend my time searching the net for the answer?

Can't even see it without creating an account. How about a link to a vendor that sells MAFs that shows 2 different MAFs for the different years.

Those are SLP 85mm MAFs and are the only ones I've ever seen that are seperated by year. Apparently they take them apart and do some calibration to the electronics. I really don't know.

looks to me like a stock unit. wonder if the inside is truely 3.5" or not.

unless yours is broken...i think it was wasted money

No reason to change it.

Thats a stock ls1 maf from an f-body... its no larger than the one that came on your car.
