mac headers
hey guys i was online lookin at headers today and thunder racing has mac mid length headers, a 3" collector and either a offroad y pipe or convertor for $729. This seems like a good deal if i want to stay emissions legal in NJ so i'll prob go with the convertor. Does anyone here have mac headers? What kind of gains should I expect? I know headers give you 25-30 hp but is this any different because they are mid length?

Ive asked the same questions, and im doing heads, cam, and Mac's with the off-road pipe(like $550) this summer. They say that with a head and cam car, long tubes dont make much if any difference than the Mac's. These are words coming out of Thunder Racing people, so I'd imagine they know whats up.
